What is OGERA?

OGERA is a comprehensive digital platform that provides news, opportunities (jobs, scholarships, grants, tenders), a marketplace for buying and selling goods, announcements, quizzes, and videos — all in one place and available in Kinyarwanda and English.

Is OGERA free to use?

Yes! Browsing news, opportunities, announcements, and watching videos is completely free. Listing products in the marketplace is also free for basic listings. Premium featured listings may have a small fee in the future.

Do I need to create an account?

You can browse all content without an account. However, you need to register to post comments, submit news, list products, post announcements, share opportunities, and participate in quizzes.

How do I create an account?

Click on "Register" in the top navigation bar, fill in your name, email, and password, and you're done! You can also register using your Google or Facebook account.

News & Content

How is news curated on OGERA?

Our editorial team selects and verifies news from trusted sources across Rwanda. We also accept submissions from registered users, which are reviewed before publication. We prioritize accuracy, relevance, and balanced reporting.

Can I submit my own news article?

Yes! Registered users can submit news articles. Go to your profile and click "Share a news story." Our editorial team will review your submission, and if approved, it will be published on the platform.

How do I apply for an opportunity?

Each opportunity listing includes an "Apply Here" button or "Visit Website" link that directs you to the official application page. OGERA does not process applications directly — we connect you with the opportunity provider.

How do I contact the organization posting an opportunity?

Contact details are listed on the opportunity page. For privacy reasons, OGERA does not intermediate communications; please reach out directly using the provided contact information.

Marketplace

How do I list a product for sale?

Go to your profile and click "Post a Product." Fill in the details, upload photos, set your price, and submit. Your listing will appear in the marketplace after approval.

Is there a fee for selling on OGERA?

Basic listings are completely free. We offer premium options for featured listings that give your product more visibility.

How do I contact a buyer or seller?

Each product listing has a contact button. You can message the seller directly through the platform or use the contact information provided in the listing.

Technical Support

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Click on "Login," then "Forgot Password." Enter your email address, and we will send you a password reset link.

How do I delete my account?

Please contact us at info@ogair.rw with your account details, and we will process your account deletion request within 48 hours.
