Kigali Arena welcomed international music star Burna Boy for a sold-out concert on July 15, drawing 10,000 fans from across East Africa. It was the first of a series of major international events scheduled at the venue in 2026, including the AfroBasket Championship in August and the Global Youth Summit in September.

Kigali Arena, which opened in 2019, has become a landmark venue for sports and entertainment in the region, hosting over 50 events annually and contributing significantly to Kigali's growing reputation as a hub for culture and entertainment.
