Rwanda and Qatar have signed a comprehensive trade agreement valued at $800 million over five years. The agreement covers energy cooperation, agricultural exports, and technology transfer. Rwandan coffee, tea, and horticultural products will gain preferential access to Qatari markets.
Qatar will also invest in Rwanda's renewable energy sector and support the development of a new cargo terminal at Kigali International Airport. The agreement was signed during President Kagame's official visit to Doha.
