Ishuri Rikuru ry'Ubuhinzi mu Rwanda ryahinduwe

Leta y'u Rwanda yatangije gahunda y'ihindagurika ry'ubuhinzi 2026-2030. Izi ngamba ziteganya kongera umusaruro w'ubuhinzi kuri 50%, zibanda kuri kawa, icyayi, ibigori, ibishyimbo, n'imbuto. Hakaba hashyirwaho uturere 10 two gutunganya ibihingwa.

The Government of Rwanda has unveiled the National Agricultural Transformation Strategy 2026-2030, a comprehensive plan to modernize the sector and ensure food security. The strategy targets a 50% increase in agricultural productivity, with particular focus on coffee, tea, maize, beans, and horticulture.

Key initiatives include establishing 10 agricultural processing zones, providing subsidized irrigation equipment to 200,000 smallholder farmers, and expanding the "one cow per family" program. The government has allocated Rwf 450 billion for implementation over five years.
