Rwanda's Coffee Exports Reach Record High of $150 Million

Rwanda's specialty coffee exports have reached a record $150 million for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, representing a 28% increase over the previous year. The growth is driven by rising global demand for high-altitude Arabica beans and Rwanda's reputation for premium quality.

The National Agricultural Export Board (NAEB) attributes the success to improved processing techniques, direct trade relationships with international roasters, and the growing "Rwanda Coffee" brand. Over 400,000 smallholder farmers benefit from the coffee value chain.
